Background

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) issued a tender through the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) dynamic purchasing system to procure electric vehicle charging infrastructure for 45 prison sites to support its growing number of electric fleet vehicles.  Four suppliers were selected to carry out works across the 45 sites, including Connected Kerb.

Connected Kerb hosted a panel, a “live case study”, with Commercial Crown Service and VolkerSmart Technologies to take the audience through the project from what the rational was for electrifying the MoJ fleet to procurement to installations so other central government entities, fleet managers, local authorities can learn from our experience.

This project has set the tone for further roll outs across other central government entities, and a template that others can follow to migrate fleets to EVs. To find out more, fill out the contact form to access the webinar recording.
